In SportsNow, you can activate two-factor authentication for your account if required. Two-factor authentication (2FA) provides additional protection for your account by requiring a second, device-specific security factor in addition to your password.

Good to know

  • Any authentication app is suitable for two-factor authentication. If you have any questions about setting up the authentication app, please contact the support team for the app in question.
  • Two-factor authentication can only be enabled and disabled for your own account on the web.

Step-by-step instructions

Enable two-factor authentication

On the web

  • Click on «My account».
  • Click on «Settings».
  • Under the «Two-factor authentication» section, you have two different options for activating authentication:
    • Scan QR code: Scan the QR code displayed using your preferred authentication app. Then enter the verification code generated by the authentication app in the «Verification code» field in SportsNow.
    • Enter key: As an alternative to scanning the QR code, you can also manually enter the key that you see below the QR code in the authentication app. Then enter the verification code generated by the authentication app in the «Verification code» field in SportsNow.
  • Click on «Confirm» to complete the process and activate two-factor authentication.
  • From now on, when you log in to your SportsNow account, a verification code will be displayed in your authentication app. Enter this code in the «Verification code» field during the login process and click on «Log in». You will then be redirected to your account.
